Kaland Conflict on 25-26/07/2025

An ongoing conflict emerged on the evening of 25/07/2025, and continues to pursue today. Byrish Armed Forces are currently holding an entrenchment 30 miles north of Claria in the Byron controlled region in Kaland. The BAF has admitted that over 90% of the Byron controlled region has been captured by the Lutonium Army, but insists that the now-arriving equipment and infantry from mainland Byron will help reinforce - the government has sent it's most technologically advanced equipment; the best in the world.

The BAF were initially outnumbered by 21 times, some troops are unaccounted for right now and the BAF is working to locate them. When the inbound infantry settle, this will reduce for 8 times, plus the additional equipment. This is plentiful to withstand the BAF's position.

The new fascist regime in Lutonium dismantles the carefully constructed peace that embodied all our nations for so long, following the end of the Great War. Shortly after coming out of an economic crisis, Arktania now faces a dictatorship in the middle of the continent. The Byrish Government remain committed to replacing the Lutonium state with a new, democratic and free Kaland. We are glad that the Common Union and it's member states now recognise this attempt by us, but the set-backs of today will indefinitely delay this process.

Claria is now seeing a large quantity of evacuees and traffic on the Claria Circle is slow, with the CU accepting our request to open their borders to visa-less evacuees. This was seen at Claria with Hillovia and Theopia opening the CU borders and providing refugee camps. Byron is sending additional humanitiarian aid to these camps to aid the CU's process, with financial compensation to be given at a later date as a thank-you.

The Byrish Government does not recognise Frederick Goshol nor LutoFirst as a real government of Lutonium, but rather a fascist regime which intends to suppress people and perform violent acts, particularly to whom it considers "deserves" it.

We now face the challenge of tackling an incredibly dangerous, deadly and ruthless fascist regime which threatens our foreign territory and allies borders. Byron remains fully committed to a democratic and free world, therefore we will carefully coordinate our next decisions to reach a real conclusion for humanity and the people of Kaland/Lutonium. Our way of life is sacred and real, it is important that we protect it with our upmost strength.

There is no sign that mainland Byron is at threat. The BAF continue to protect Claria as Byrish foreign territory, and we look towards our next steps with our allies in the continent.
