- Announcement in collaboration of H.M. Byron Government and Sendengate City Council -

Sendengate's ongoing regeneration has now passed two phases, and both have made a significant impact on the lives of people who live in the capital, and those coming from outside too. The experience of the city has been transformed and we are constantly reiterating what it means to have a functional, prosperous, and working city. We would like to briefly reflect on a few things we have achieved with the regeneration so far.
One that effects the whole country is the economic benefits this has brought Byron. The country is now the furthest ahead of any other economy in it's history, and this record is due to be broken again in the next economic report from Global Point, which will consider Phase 2 upgrades. Wages are increasing at a much faster rate than prices, meaning your disposable income will too.
We've completely redone, revised, and reconfigured how we do transport in Sendengate. It's becoming evermore easy to get around. In Sendengate City Centre, there are more public transport routes than any other place in the world. Boasting a fantastic route offering from Sendengate Central across Byron and the world, and this will only increase the city's offering with Sendengate Underport. The City Centre offers a hybrid of pedestrian and vehicle transport; parking is sustainable around the edges of the city centre, with easy-to-access and fast pedestrian routes across inner central to allow for more buildings, more communal spaces, and more room in general. This does not mean we are abandoning cars, but we are keeping them to a minimum in area's such as Sendengate City Centre, where there are options to switch to walking. We have increased the capacity of the main roads in the city centre such as Central Boulevard which is now a dual carriageway which runs from Salisthorpe, through the City Centre, and past The Gates, allowing for vehicles to pass through the city centre faster, and reducing congestion.
We've seen new area's rise and old one's redone - Gates Corner, Embankment (Quay West), Politics Quarter, Lorett, South Salisthorpe - just to name a few. All these have made a substantial impact on the city's offering and the wellbeing of communities.
We do have some exciting news on the future though.

Let's get into transport. It is responsible for getting us around, and we rely on it being on-time, quick, and as direct as possible. We are excited to announce some new developments on this sector.
The Shaft is making healthy progress at slow but steady pace - allowing us, in collaboration with RailCo, to make a service that meets your requirements. We are constantly observing our own public transport in Byron alongside noting other one's outside the country and making sure we can get the best out of what we have. This has lead the new Central Line currently in testing to be the fastest, cleanest, and most modern example of public transportation in the world, and we are eager to open it when it's complete.
A new mode of transport that has already begun construction in preparation for this announcement is trams. Run by RailCo which is already responsible for many services in the city such as The Shaft, this new mode of transport will compliment the offering of The Shaft. This new service will go by the name the "Norsen Tram", and will be a long singular line running across a large span of the county. The tram will be free, but does run at a lower speed and will not get you to your destination as fast as say The Shaft, but it does aim to connect the least busy area's of the county to those locations where you can transfer to the city's higher capacity transport offerings. Below is the planned map of the tram line - subject to change.

Payment for taking the tram may be considered at a later date. Main stops on the line are The Cuboid (transfers to Sendengate Central & Cuboid & Station [The Shaft]), Townsbury (for access to the RailCo Waterline), and Townsbury (for access to Northern Water).

Now, we will detail expansion. All areas in Sendengate that were due for refurbishment or rebuild have been cleared, as everything that was wanted to be done has now been completed. This now means Sendengate can resume substantial expansion after almost a year. We aim to continue with our high-quality development in this expansion and to see the capital's vision.
The first two districts we will look at are planned Wellinghouse and Brook. In the original regeneration plan for Phase 1, these two districts were meant to be housing and a Port, but with Underport now going to be the location of City of Sendengate Port, we have had to rethink this. Wellinghouse will be now be a upmarket neighbourhood residing next to Sendengate City Centre and along Byron's north coast, finally making the realization of Townsbury and Sendengate directly bordering each other a reality. Brook will be a tourism hub with resorts, beaches, hills and cliffs. Currently, we hope to develop two main attractions. Firstly is Northern Zoo & Safari, this first of it's kind - to see and meet animals from different climates in a large and spacious environment, with the bustling scenes of Sendengate surrounding it, yet are deafened in this green environment. Second is Heritage Bank which will be situated in Brook; it will be sat on Byron's hilly north coast and be rebuild's of landmarks that no longer exist across the world so their existance can be reignited in a new location. You can expect to see landmarks from Oakaya, Vitalunae, Gastastan, and Theopia here. They will all serve a proper purpose too, whether it's retail, transport, or housing.
Next is the district of Underport. This new district is already confirmed to be home to City of Sendengate Port and Sendengate Underport Station - which will be the largest station in the world. We are treating this district as a second 'City Centre' for the capital, and will feature tall skylines and be the headquarters for many global brands. We do not however want to dehumanize this district and will prioritize commercial and entertainment offerings. This will be a hotbed of creative arts, be a favourite place to visit others, and could have the potential to be the location of another Stadium in Sendengate. We are also considering an indoor arena. We will continue to make amendments into Underport before we implement them. It is already planned to have excellent transport links via the M3, The Shaft, the ISR, and National trains.

We are thrilled with the progress we have made, and are excited for what the future brings. You can expect this phase to also bring additional projects alongside it which have not been mentioned here, but will in time.
We thank businesses, organisations, and you for your ongoing support for Sendengate.
